Catalunya Mobile Awards 2025
The Catalunya Mobile Awards 2025 were created to recognise and reward the best applications developed (or updated) by Catalan companies (with their registered office in Catalonia) during 2025.
The aim is to highlight technological innovation and social and business impact, and to contribute to the promotion and consolidation of the digital ecosystem.
Entry requirements
Membership
Applicant companies must be members of Catalunya Mobile.
Registered office in Catalonia
Applications must have been developed by companies with their registered office in Catalonia.
Publication date
The app must have been published between 1 January and 31 December 2025.
App reach
The app’s reach may be local, national or international.
Entry form
Each company may submit as many entries as it wishes, filling in a separate form for each app it wants to enter. There is no limit on the number of apps submitted.
Choice of categories
The company may freely choose the categories in which it wants to enter its app, depending on the apps it decides to enter in the competition.

Best App of 2025
It is chosen from among the winners of the other categories and rewards the app that best represents excellence, innovation and impact within the digital ecosystem. An award that celebrates talent, creativity and the ability to turn technology into value for society.
Best Health App
Recognition for the best app aimed at improving people’s health and wellbeing, whether through medical monitoring, mental health, telemedicine or the promotion of healthy habits.
Best Education App
Award for the best digital solution created to facilitate learning, training or educational management. Particular value is placed on pedagogical innovation, usability and transformative potential in the field of education.
Best Sports App
Recognition for the best app related to physical activity, training or sports management. This category recognises technology that promotes an active lifestyle and connects the sports community.
Best Utilities App
Award for the most outstanding app in the energy and telecommunications sectors that brings efficiency, connectivity and sustainability to the daily lives of users or companies.
Best Business App
Recognition for the best app aimed at improving business processes, productivity or corporate communication. Particular value will be placed on its ability to optimise business management and drive digital transformation.
Special category supported by ASCICAT
Best Security App
Award for the best app focused on cybersecurity, data protection and digital privacy. This category highlights the key role of security as a fundamental pillar of digital trust.
Special category supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya
Best App in Catalan
Award for the best app available entirely in the Catalan language, developed in Catalan or fully translated into it, that helps strengthen its presence and use in the digital sphere
Jury
Each category will have its own jury, made up of professionals specialised in that field, who will assess only the entries submitted in that category. The winning apps of each category will then go forward to a joint assessment by the whole jury, which will decide which one is recognised as the Best App of 2025.

2025 winners
The jury, made up of professionals from technology, innovation and digital entrepreneurship, assessed the entries against several key criteria.
These criteria include the degree of innovation and differentiation of the solution compared with what already exists on the market; the quality of the user experience (UX/UI), with intuitive navigation, attractive design and accessibility; and the real value and impact of the app in solving a specific need within its category.
The technical quality and functioning of the app were also taken into account, including stability, performance and the maturity of the product; its fit with the category in which it was entered; and finally the clarity and quality of the pitch, assessing conciseness, the strength of the arguments and the quality of the entry’s presentation.

For teachers and students: it digitises the content of Editorial Vicens Vives, making resources and activities easier to access.
Best Utilities App: Trocalia (Trocalia Digital)
A circular economy app that connects neighbours to swap, share, rent, give away or sell items and services.
Best Business App: Digipal app (DIGIPAL)
Manage and store digital receipts, regardless of the shop where the purchase is made or the payment method used.
Best Security App: Co-resol and b-resol (Bcn-resol)
Anonymous alert channels for schools and companies to report bullying, abuse or mental health problems.
Best App in Catalan: CookNest (CookNest)
Save and organise your recipes in one place, in a simple and pleasant way.
Best Sports App: Baqueira Beret (Doonamis)
The resort’s official app, which centralises key information and services for planning and enjoying the mountain experience.
