Sparsity is a spin-off of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya that specialises in Big Data analysis and management. Sparsity has a long track record of working for major companies in the sector and taking part in multiple European Union R&D projects, which led the European Commission to name Sparsity the SME with the most innovative potential of 2015. Sparsity currently focuses on Smart Cities and is building its own platform, CIGO!, which allows mobility to be managed intelligently and interactively through mobile apps that connect to it. CIGO! makes it possible to make decisions that affect mobility and to analyse their impact.
