Unimedia Technology recognised at the Delta Awards 2025

Gavà (Baix Llobregat) hosted the award ceremony for the sixteenth edition of the Delta Awards on Tuesday 4 November. The awards are organised every two years by the municipalities of Castelldefels, Gavà, El Prat de Llobregat, Sant Boi de Llobregat and Viladecans. The aim of the awards is to recognise and highlight the best business initiatives in the five municipalities, promoting innovation, new business creation and quality job creation. This year, 32 companies competed for awards in three categories: the Digital Transformation Award, Circular Economy Award and Innovative Local Retail Award.

The gala, presided over by the mayor of Gavà, Gemma Badia, was attended by institutional representatives from the five municipalities, as well as local entrepreneurs and business organisations from the Baix Llobregat. The jury was made up of representatives of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, CCOO, Consell Comarcal del Baix Llobregat, Innobaix, PIMEC, Eurecat, Roca Group and Solucions Psicocreatives.

Innovation and sustainability take centre stage

In the Digital Transformation category, the main award went to Imotion Analytics from Castelldefels, a technology company specialising in computer vision solutions that optimise safety and efficiency in critical infrastructure.

The Special Mention went to Unimedia Technology, also from Castelldefels, for its track record and work in developing bespoke software solutions. This recognition is a significant boost for the entire Unimedia team and an endorsement of its dedication and firm commitment to technological innovation as a tool for transforming and growing businesses.

Since its beginnings, Unimedia Technology has understood innovation not only as a goal but as an attitude. Every day, its team works to offer customised digital solutions that help their clients improve competitiveness, optimise processes and adapt to a constantly evolving business environment.

In the Circular Economy category, the award went to Sylvia Calvo BCN, a sustainable fashion brand from Castelldefels that uses recycled materials, such as jute coffee sacks, and has developed the innovative fabric Re-Yut-Cel. The special mention recognised the work of Keiken Engineering, from Gavà, for its commitment to sustainability and its design of water treatment plants based on circular economy principles.

Finally, the Innovative Local Retail Award, given to one business in each municipality, recognised shops that integrate digital tools, raise their profile and adopt sustainable management practices.
