Joan Traver and Xavier Mier give a talk at this year’s second ACA Beers, with a good turnout of members and some companies from the sector.

With lawyer Xavier Mier of Bufet Suárez de Viver, we took a practical look at the most common problems and conflicts arising from employees’ use of IT resources during working hours, and at why companies should establish so-called IT usage protocols to regulate it.

After Xavier Mier’s talk, Joan Traver, a marketing graduate and ACA member, spoke to us about location-based proximity marketing. He explained how MOCA can help us increase our revenue through contextual mobile advertising. Member attendance at this ACA Beers was good.

After the talks, we held a round-table Q&A session over a beer.
