Omnios drives digital transformation with artificial intelligence applied to public and private services – Omnios

applied artificial intelligence

Barcelona, August 2025 – Omnios, a technology company based in Barcelona, is consolidating its position as a leader in the development of artificial intelligence solutions applied to both the public and private sectors. As a member of Catalunya Mobile, Omnios shares the mission of promoting an open, inclusive digital ecosystem aligned with the values of technological innovation in Catalonia.

With more than 120 projects implemented in Europe and the Americas, the company has shown how technology can be a driver of real change, helping institutions and companies to be more efficient, accessible and competitive.

We are proud to share a project that made the news two weeks ago and is set to revolutionise citizen services: LaIA, the first virtual assistant based on generative AI to be deployed in a civil registry anywhere in Spain. Developed 100% by Omnios and already up and running at the new Civil Registry of Tarragona, this multichannel assistant offers round-the-clock service and allows users to make enquiries and carry out procedures on their own, such as obtaining certificates or information on registrations and registry procedures. This solution significantly improves the user experience, especially for groups with greater difficulty in accessing services.

The Omnios team has worked with the Generalitat de Catalunya, town councils, international organisations and also private companies in the pharmaceutical, legal, food and industrial sectors, to deploy artificial intelligence solutions tailored to their operational and strategic challenges.

Among the most notable initiatives are:

– Multilingual virtual assistants for citizen services and internal support in public organisations and companies with a high volume of enquiries.

– Real-time accessibility systems, with automatic transcription and translation of audiovisual content, used both in institutional settings and at corporate events.

– Document anonymisation technologies, applied in legal and healthcare contexts to guarantee privacy when exchanging sensitive information.

– Document automation and content generation platforms, which optimise internal processes in law firms, pharmaceutical companies or customer service departments.

– Intelligent media monitoring and strategic reporting solutions, for regulatory bodies and the communications teams of large organisations.

These tools have had a tangible impact on operational efficiency, cost reduction, improved user experience and regulatory compliance, reinforcing Omnios’s role as a trusted technology partner for institutions and companies committed to digital transformation.

With a people-centred outlook and a clear commitment to service, in both the public and private sectors, Omnios shows that artificial intelligence can be a strategic ally in moving towards a society and organisations that are more efficient, competitive, inclusive and connected with their surroundings.
