Catalunya Mobile and Grupo Aspasia boost digital talent and employment

digital talent

Catalunya Mobile has formalised a collaboration agreement with the Catalan branch of Grupo Aspasia to strengthen the development of professional skills and promote job placement and digital talent in the sector, with a particular focus on mobile technology. The alliance aims to tackle today’s labour market challenges by connecting training, innovation and business.

The signing ceremony took place in Barcelona and was attended by Roger Vilanou Vallès, president of Catalunya Mobile, and Marta Maxé Navarro, director of Aspasia Catalunya. Both agreed on the need to create spaces for real collaboration between the world of education and training and technology companies, in order to foster professional growth and create new, high-quality job opportunities.

Bringing talent and business closer together: a strategic commitment

The agreement includes several specific initiatives, such as the joint organisation of training days, practical workshops and meetings with companies to identify in-demand professional profiles. In addition, companies that are members of Catalunya Mobile will have preferential access to the job board managed by Aspasia, giving them a more direct line to qualified candidates.

At the same time, students on Aspasia Catalunya’s programmes will have the opportunity to complete work placements in companies in the mobile sector, easing their transition into the world of work and helping them adapt better to the real needs of the market.

Ongoing training tailored to the sector

Another fundamental pillar of the agreement is the provision of subsidised, specialised training for employees of member companies. This training, designed to respond to today’s technological challenges, will allow companies to improve their teams’ skills and continue innovating in a constantly evolving digital environment.

A living, constantly evolving project

To ensure that this collaboration is dynamic and effective, Catalunya Mobile and Aspasia Catalunya have agreed to hold regular follow-up meetings to assess results, identify new opportunities and adjust their actions as the sector evolves and new needs emerge.

According to Roger Vilanou Vallès, “this alliance represents a firm step towards a more solid Catalan digital ecosystem, based on local talent and on training as an engine of progress.” For her part, Marta Maxé Navarro stressed that “collaboration between educational and business institutions is key to guaranteeing quality employment and a more competitive digital economy”.

A shared commitment to Catalonia’s digital future

The agreement, with an initial term of one year and automatic renewal, aims to lay the foundations for a long-term collaboration. Both Catalunya Mobile and Grupo Aspasia thus reaffirm their commitment to the country’s digital transformation and to promoting highly qualified talent that meets the needs of one of the sectors with the brightest future.
